Programme profile
This programme aims to prepare students with architectural design capabilities through building a strong foundation of knowledge and technical skills.The core of this programme is Italian architecture with in the context of global issues and trends.
All activities are centred upon a design-oriented studio. Design tutors are established professionals who combine research, technical, and practical knowledge. Additional core and elective courses complement the design studio, and are assessed through a combination of coursework, essays and examinations. Excursions, residential workshops, exchange programmes and other educational activities provide the students with further opportunities to develop their profile according to their interests.

Year 2: Building Physics; Theory and Design of Buildings and Structures; Architectural Design Studio; History of Contemporary Architecture; Building Technology Studio; Interior Architecture; Historical Building Preservation Studio; Technological Systems for Buildings
Year 3: Building Technology Design and Project Evaluation; Architectural Design Studio; Urban Economics; Urban Sociology; Strength of Materials; Thematic Studio; Internship
Entry Requirements
3 A-levels and 3 GCSEs. Subjects to include Maths and at least 3 subjects relevant to the programme
Leaving Certificate showing at least 6 subjects of which at least 2 Higher Level subjects (at least Grade H5). Subjects to include Maths and at least 3 subjects relevant to the programme
